The '''Mutant Bug Lair''' is an area inaccessible until end game. It's accessed during a quest from the [[Wizard]] to speak to [[Krobus]] to get something called a Dark Talisman. To get there players must travel through the [[Sewers]].
After completing either the [[Bundles]] inside the [[Community Center]] or restoring the [[Joja Warehouse]] and completing the tasks there a quest will open up. The [[Wizard]] will have a cutscene with the player when they enter the [[Railroad|railroad area]] and request they find a Dark Talisman.
To find the Dark Talisman players must speak to [[Krobus]], who will open access to the Mutant Bug Lair through the [[Sewers]]. Inside the Mutant Bug Lair is a chest which holds the Talisman, which can then be placed directly on the artifact blocking the cave to open the path.
The Mutant Bug Lair isn't very large, so players should have no problem finding the chest with the Talisman inside. They should be equipped to encounter enemy [[monsters]] though, as there are a number of [[Mutant Grub]]s and [[Mutant Fly|Mutant Flies]] inside. It is the only location where the [[Slimejack]] can be caught. It also contains [[Carp]]. Fishing here is especially dangerous because the [[Mutant Fly|Mutant Flies]] continuously spawn and attack the player.
