El '''Cofre''' es un [[Fabricación#Misc|fabricable]] para guardar objetos en [[Stardew Valley]]. Puede contener hasta 36 distintos tipos de objetos. Puedes juntar hasta un máximo de 999 objetos idénticos en un solo espacio. Los objetos no se descomponen en los cofres.
Los cofres se pueden poner en distintos sitios de Stardew Valley. Aún así, si un cofre se encuentra en el camino de un [[Aldeanos|aldeano]], desaparecerá junto con todo su contenido. No se sabe si es un bug o algo hecho a proposito.
Un cofre vacío puede ser recogido y devuelto al inventario golpeandolo con cualquier herramienta. Cofre con objetos en su interior no pueden ser recogidos.
==Colorear==
Cuando están abiertos, los cofres tienen una barra de color encima de la ventana del inventario, la cual permite a los jugadores seleccionar un color distinto para el cofre. Este puede cambiarse en cualquier momento sin coste alguno. Hay 20 colores disponibles para seleccionar en el selector de color.

==Chests outside the farm==
It is possible to place chests (or other [[furniture]] such as [[furnace]]s or [[bee house]]s) around town in many locations. This is useful to allow the player to store items for [[gift]]s close to the home of a [[villager]] that loves particular items or to allow additional storage when [[Fishing]] or [[foraging]]. If a [[villager]] walks through the square where a chest or other piece of [[furniture]] was left, the item will be destroyed. Below are player-created maps to indicate which tiles on the map are safe from [[villager]]-pathing.
